![]() Game Devs like to experiment and try new things to add a fresh feel to the game. Since when has calling someone's product(that they OWN) inferior caused them to want to appease you, when there are others who enjoy the product and have more money.Īlso, game devs typically like to avoid the critics complaints of a game being "the same as it was before". Why should Bethesda make a game for the smaller, and thus less profitable market, rather than the bigger more profitable market.Īlso, why should bethesda make a game for the smaller market when that smaller market has spend the last few years constantly screaming that "NV is better, Bethesda can't make RPGs, FO3 was inferior to FO2" and on and on. as its the most profit.Īppealing to the mainstream shooter crowd is alot more profitable than the much much smaller hardcore RPG crowd.įO4 appealed to the mainstream shooter crowd, as well as the moderate RPG crowd. Bethesda's learned its lesson for the most part and hit gold with FO4's gameplay/stream lined system.Įxcept from Bethesda's point of view, they want to appeal to the largest market. But something people keep overlooking is Bethesda showed they know what the mistakes were, and fixed them, in Far Harbor. than it is an epic story with really bad gameplay(stickmen much)īethesda knows they made mistakes. Not to say story isn't important(fk you duke nukem), but its easier to get away with an average story with great gameplay. Gameplay is what you do 95% of the time in game, so its (imo) more important than story. it was decent.Īdding the gameplay to it made it great, though if it had NV's story with FO4's gameplay. it wasn't as fleshed out and varied as NV sure. I like to have levels that are like open ended puzzles, with the player and their build like a swiss army knife with different attachments depending on perks and gear, so the puzzle can be solved in different ways each time.ĭepends. This design also goes into the side quests and main quests which ultimately devolve into linear shooters like you mentioned, which is a serious flaw. ![]() Maybe a raider base with some corn plants and a water pump to make it seem like they were somewhat self-sufficient. So much of the dungeon designs could be so much better with some non-linearity and some reasonable realism added in to make it feel like a real place. Lexington had this on a very small scale, but it works. I have tossed an idea around where a Fallout game takes place in a city with a majorly radioactive and dangerous floor and lower levels, but the tops of skyscrapers are clean and vibrant with plant life and normal humans, creating a Haven and a Hell, with some sentient ghoul settlements on the ground, maybe a hardcore mercenary group on the bottom, with a more dangerous human group on the top that threatens to banish people down the skyscrapers as overpopulation occurs and space gets cramped. Lexington in general is decently designed, with the raiders up above and the ghouls down below. Corvega is actually pretty well designed, I agree, and while I think that player build should have mattered more(Lockpick to get past enemies quietly, science to turn on more robots than just the few, and maybe repair to fix an elevator to take you straight up), with maybe some more alternate routes on the inside, it was a massive step up. SneakPeek offers a full refund if your results are not accurate. If a male family member, friend, or even your male cat (yes, really!) is in the area you could accidentally include their DNA in your sample and thus get a boy result, no matter your baby is. The blood draw walks you how to avoid contamination with steps like sterilizing your collection area and hands, so follow that advice carefully. But here’s the catch-if you contaminate your sample, you could get inaccurate results. If the test detects the presence of male chromosomes, your result will be a boy if it doesn’t detect the male chromosomes, your result is a girl. SneakPeek works by tests blood samples for only one thing: male chromosomes. Then, send that sample to SneakPeek for testing.Īfter collecting my sample, I drove straight to the post office and had my package scanned before the afternoon pick-up time on a Tuesday. SneakPeek doesn’t outright mention this, but you do have the choice to ask your care provider or lab tech to draw an extra vial of blood straight from your vein during other blood work. And if you can’t bring yourself to do a poke at home, there is an alternative option for gathering a sample. They provide all the supplies you need including the lancet to draw blood from your fingertip. Now, that is just me and just my insurance, but because I could try out the SneakPeek test for significantly less, I decided it was a great alternative-especially since our main objective in early blood work was learning our little one’s sex versus a full genetic work-up.īlood work at home made me a little nervous, but SneakPeek offers super clear instructions with photo guides.
